I just recently received my light and have yet to use it for any events. I will say the light is bright and the gobos are quite good while testing it at my home. Two critiques I do have is #1. The instruction manual is very vague, and you have to basically push the buttons on the remote to find out how everything works. #2. The power cord needs to be way longer, at least 10 ft, if you plan on using it on a DJ stand or truss system.

The upgraded 15 Eye laser Rave Light is small & compact, but packs a BIG punch. The light has lots of functions and great patterns. If you need a light for your next party, the Rave Light 15 Eye laser is the one to get, hands down. A GREAT product.

I was actually shocked that it is this special of quality that it is . A lot more than I thought because of the low price . I am amazed by all the patterns and how huge of an area it covers .This is for Christmas , BUT I had to try it out . He loves getting together in the garage so that is it's new home . THANKS A LOT !! It's good. The remote is good. Just wish it reacted to sound. The instructions included were very vague. I don't think it reacts to sound. There is an automatic option to cycle through the lights at a set pace but nothing great as far as reacting to sound.

I had the original but dropped it from a high location, so I ordered the upgraded version. I like the strobe effect better on the 1st one, it had a more variable speed control. also seemed to have a better DJ / music response mode. Besides that, I love the new 1. The colors seem brighter and more brilliant. The solid color effects are nice as well.

I would like for you to send me an easy to follow instruction how to program various patterns and combinations. I find the product finely made seems durable and sound piece of engineering, but again I would appreciate a “simplified” step by step programming info.
As well, Can the machine be programmed to automatically change laser light effects?
And is it possible to set program to include laser lights when wanting to change to the beats of my drums with more than just lights? (to include laser)

I purchased one Ravelight several months ago and attached it to the ceiling in the Poway, CA VFW dance floor. It was a big hit especially with a smoke machine. Now our band is playing other venues especially outdoors in the summer, so we purchased 2 more Ravelights for larger stages and dance floors. Lights make a big difference in our live performances.

Sometimes you can be disappointed by the advertised product and what really shows up. NOT THIS GIZMO. No disappointments here. It is a very cool toy and really sets the mood for any party. I bought this for a backyard wedding and everyone was inpressed young and old.
